Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Lake Nakuru

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, your guide will warmly welcome you. A scenic drive, lasting approximately 2-3 hours, will take you to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch will be served at the lodge or camp upon your arrival. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive in Lake Nakuru, renowned for its flamingos and diverse birdlife. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner at your chosen accommodation, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

Start the day with an early breakfast at the lodge, followed by a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru. After lunch at the lodge, the journey continues as you depart for the world-famous Masai Mara, a drive of approximately 5-6 hours. Upon reaching Masai Mara, check in at your selected accommodation, and enjoy a delicious dinner. Spend the night in the heart of Masai Mara.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Begin the day with an early breakfast at the lodge, gearing up for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara. Packed lunches will be provided, allowing you to explore the vast savannahs and witness the spectacle of the Great Migration, especially if your visit aligns with the migration season from July to October. A visit to the Mara River offers opportunities to witness potential wildlife activity. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, allowing for a leisurely morning. Check out and depart for Nairobi. If time permits, consider an optional visit to a local Maasai village for a cultural interaction, providing insight into their traditions and way of life. The safari concludes with a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your enriching 4-day Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari. Safe travels!
